Fasting at "MEAT" is delicious!

It would seem that "MEAT", known for its richest selection of decidedly unvegetarian dishes, and a lenten table would not have much in common.

Especially for our guests observing the traditions, for the beginning of Lent we've added several new dishes to our menu - light, good for the figure, but not boring.

Mistaken are those who think that lean food should be tasteless. To find otherwise, you only need to order a salad where ripe tomatoes and avocado are blended harmoniously together, complemented by the spicy notes of fresh cilantro - a bright spring dish, pleasing not only the stomach, but the eyes as well.

Not only strict traditionalists should try the new dishes, but also those who have a passion for unusual combinations. You might like a duo of canned artichokes and blanched fern shoots - a Siberian curiosity rarely seen in Moscow restaurants.

If you desire a heavier meal, you can have spaghetti with octopus, calamari and zucchini. Seafood is useful, rich in protein, which is so lacking during the many weeks of fasting, and will certainly not hurt figure nor soul.

Serves vegetarian menu will be available only during the Great Lent, which runs until May 4th. Upon its completion, guests who prefer vegetarian cuisine will find several interesting permanent positions on the menu: a salad with mushrooms, a Greek salad or "Caesar" with octopus - there are plenty to choose from.
